Susan D Nealon was born on November 19th, and raised in Rochester, New York. She is the daughter of Robert and Joyce Price, and has 2 sisters, one brother, all currently living in Rochester, New York. Around age 8, Susan developed a strong passion for the art of hair. She began practicing on dolls, family, friends, herself, and wigs. When she turned 14 she enrolled in a cosmetology program where she attended High School half day and Cosmetology the other half of the school day. She also took art classes 4 years of her High school, and styled hair for school plays. After completing 2 years of the Cosmetology program, and graduating High School she attended Coiffeurs International Beauty College in Rochester, New York for further training. She took her State Boards in New York State, and began working in salon. Susan also has many years of experience sewing costumes, working with straight and costume makeup, and latex appliances. She loves Halloween and creating ideas for costumes. She was fortunate to have a Grandfather, St. Claire A. Price who was an artist, a magician, and owner of 3 novelties stores, one in Rochester, New York, Buffalo, New York, and Syracuse, New York. He supplied her with latex appliance, spirit gum, grease paints and much more. Later she moved to Southern California with her first-born daughter, Natasha, with the ambition and desire to seek work as a Hair Stylist in the film industry. Susan challenged the California State Boards and became licensed in California as well. She then took a job in a Hair Salon. Later she gave birth to two more daughters, Shereena and Amanda, fifteen months apart. In October of 1996 she got hired by 20th Century Fox and worked as a Hair stylist on James Cameron's Titanic (1997) film in Rosarito, Mexico until April of 1997. She then worked as a Hair Stylist on William Richert's The Man in the Iron Mask (1998/II). Susan then moved to Redding, California where she learned of Jake Daniels through the Film Commissioners, and went to work as a Key Hair Stylist, Assistant Makeup artist, and Special Effects Tech on "The Deviants" film. Susan has more than 25 years of experience and training in the hair and makeup industry. Although it took her longer than planned to achieve where she is today, Susan says, "What greater glory can one experience, than the journey it takes to arrive there."
